“When You Make a Promise to Your Mother, Failure is Not an Option!”
YORKTOWN HEIGHTS, N.Y.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Several years ago, author and guest speaker Matthew Cossolotto made a promise to his mother – who was dying of lung cancer at the time – that he would finish writing a book he had frequently discussed with her, get it published, and dedicate it to her memory.
Cossolotto has now fulfilled that promise.
Serendipity Alert: The book’s official release date – March 1, 2009 – just happens to be his mother’s birthday.
The self-help book –- provocatively titled The Real F Word: The 7 FAILURE Traps of Highly Disempowered People (and what to do about them) –- contains personal empowerment and success insights that are especially critical in today’s tough economic climate.
”I credit that promise,” Cossolotto said, “for giving me the motivation to keep working on the book and ultimately find a publisher. When you make a promise to your mother, failure is not an option.”
Cossolotto added: “I’ll never forget my mother’s reaction when I made that promise. Her face lit up and she smiled brightly despite the terrible pain she was experiencing. ‘You do that, Matthew’ she said, with a note of pride mixed with defiance in her voice. ‘You do that!’ And I’m proud to say I did. I think she’d be proud too. I only wish she could be here this Mother’s Day to read the dedication herself.”
Published by Morgan James Publishing, The Real F Word is available via www.Amazon.com and local bookstores.
